That's what I say almost every morning when the alarm goes off. I hate getting up in the morning. I do it because I have to in order to make a living, but it's torture for me. I've made references in some of my posts like here and here about not being able to sleep at night. Last night I fell asleep at 8:45 p.m. and I still was fighting with the alarm clock this morning! "Please, just give me 5 more
minutes!" I pleaded as I hit the snooze button. Perhaps I had had TOO much sleep last night. Why is that when it's time to get up, the bed feels the most warm and comfortable? Why does it feel as if someone is holding me hostage in my bed in the morning? Why do I seem to be experiencing my most vivid dreams right at the exact moment my alarm starts to sound off? Is it just me? I don't consider myself to be a lazy person, I just detest getting out of the bed. Once I'm up and about, I'm good. It's just the getting up part I have a problem with.lil Honey b

I feel the same way! I'm not lazy, but I LOVES my bed and my sleep! I'm right there with you, girl!
You are good for five. I'll hav my alarm set for 5:45AM and when it goes off I don't hit snooze I reset it to like 6:15AM now that's bad!
Go b.
Thats why i'm addicted to espresso
I'm paralized in the early cold mornings and can't get up for nothing. Then I hate when I turn my alarm off and wake up like 20 min before work!
btw- Your blog is great and very interesting!
I always say 5 more and then more and then more......:O
I definitely feel you on this one. I set my alarm clock for 5:30 and hit the snooze button at least five times before I get up. That's an extra 30 minutes. If I get up at 5:30 I can take my time getting ready. That extra 30 makes me have to rush. Sleep is too good and work is not where I want to be. LOL!
@ Everyone--I think we all could use a lil more sleep, our society doesn't make it easy for folks to get proper rest!
@Boss Mack & She bloggs--Great to see that ya'll stopped by. Come back soon!
